SeaSands in the Sun

I must say I've been a lazer this month. Too many things going on at the same time ;) I only managed to read one book in April! My bestie Summer lent me 3 books to read - all under the Asian Chic Literature genre. I only managed to read one - which is Undercover Tai Tai by Maya O' Calica (almost typed Calypso!) It was an ok read. If you like fashion and a little murder and some romance thrown in, this book is for you. Unfortunately it's not one of my favourites. The story was well written and lots of designer names are mentioned. I tried reading the other 2 in the series - Amazing Grace and Mrs.Mis Marriage..but couldn't bring myself to finish it. I watched 2 movies in March (I think!). Caught Alice in Wonderland in 3D. The effects were not that fantastic but the story line was interesting. The movie shows Alice all grown up and falls into the hole back to 'Wonderland' again. This time it shows the Red and White Queen battling for the rightful ownership of ruling 'Wonderland/Underland'. I thought all the cast did a wonderful job in portraying such quirky characters. This movie - you gotta watch! Ok the poster looks a bit weird, but the plot is good and the animation is BETTER :) Very entertaining.
