Image
I must say that I did not complete any books for November! Was busy moving homes and I got lazy But I'm currently reading Diana Gabaldon's 7th installment of her Outlander Series - An Echo in the Bone. Super thick..it's going to take me a while..since I don't get to read it often! Christmas is coming! Have you started your shopping yet?

I-City

Image
We stopped by Klang when we went to Kuala Lumpur last month. There was this place called I-City there that literally made me see bright lights. hehe They had rows and rows of "LED trees". It was really pretty and I must thank our friend Sai for bringing us there. Enjoy the pics! Bamboo trees Close-ups taken by Oreja I like this pic taken by Oreja the most :)

Seven Bistro

Image
Went for dinner at Seven Bistro. The reason why it's called 7 is because..most of their food are priced at RM7! It's relatively new and given the fact that I haven't been to Gurney for so long, I didn't know they had Spanish food served here. My friend had a good eye and he spotted the word TAPAS. Of course, we decided to have dinner there :) We love all things Spanish. The ambiance of the bisto - we were early. hehe My Mushroom & cheese baguette tapas & Mango passion fruit crushie. Yummy Friend's las gambas His chicken and prawn's combined Tapas and desserts are all priced at RM7, where else main course is about RM11 - RM13. Not bad, I'd go there again. Request to add chocolate con churros please!

Soul Kitchen Trattoria

We had lunch at this quaint place last week. A friend recommended this place to us saying that it's a nice place to try out. So enjoy the pics - not much since we were so hungry, we missed out taking pics of the yummy Tramezzini! Based on the menu on the board, I roughly figured out that they served Italian food (which is great ;] ) The ambiance was very laid-back with soul music playing in the background - it felt like time slowed down ;) The Lady Boss personally took our orders and it just felt very laid back, she sat down next to me and got what we wanted. It gave a sense of cordiality. :) Menu written on the board. The pizza was highly recommended by my friend who had been there before. This is our turkey ham pizza (at least I hope it was!) I must say it was bellisima! Yummy indeed. We also had Salami Tramezzini with Roasted Balsamic Garlic sauce. It was really, really good! Sorry no photo of that! Most important meal (for me anyways) - DESSERTS! We had the tiramisu as well as

Adam Lambert Glamnation Tour - Live in Malaysia 2010

Image
Oreja & I went to Adam Lambert's Concert in October. This post is a little bit late - I bet a lot of teens that went to the concert immediately started posting photos and blog entries about it. Regardless, we had a really good time! Adam was a great performer. I am amazed at his vocal skills. That dude never went off-key! Some photos to share - didn't take much though, most came out shaky anyway :) Golden ticket The stage - it was rather small Crowd entertaining themselves while waiting. According to a newspaper article, it was a full house concert - 13000 people attended. Malaysian Idol Winner Daniel Lee and Violinist Dennis Lau performing Bon Jovi's It's My Life Hello Adam! Performing Voodoo. I only knew he was singing this song half way through..as the crowd was so loud! Close-up from the screen He sang almost all the songs from his album and came back to sing 2 more songs as an encore :) Thank you for coming for a concert here! I thought it would be an impossibl

The Kitchen & Michael Jackson

Image
This is all in good fun and I did not intent it for it to upset anyone. All the pictures were taken from google images. Credits goes to whoever took the pics. I was watching some clips of the late Michael Jackson tonight. As I was singing along to the songs, I noticed something ..he's no longer here for me to ask him, but he may have very well sought inspiration to write some of his biggest hits while he was in the kitchen. Inspiration comes at the oddest locations! Take a look and see if you agree: Eggs - May have given him some idea to whip up " Beat It " Expired yogurt - (you know i'm) " BAD " Black & White Chinese Fungus - Maybe he liked Chinese food. It don't matter if you're " Black or White Safety is a must if you have children around (That stove is) " DANGEROUS " You know you will definitely" CRY " when you peel onions Timing is important when you're baking.. " Remember the Time " While pounding
