I'm back!

It's been a long time since I wrote in this blog (why is this a familiar line? haha). I guess with many other distractions I haven't been able to focus on blogging. Let's try it out again. The last post I did was in 2017! Was the concert of Ed Sheeran's Divide tour. That was a fun one. After that I managed to attend one more concert by..BLUE (!) Used to listen to them when I was in school and it was nice when they came to do a concert - all the old aunties screaming at *still* fit uncles..LOL what a joke, but it was certainly enjoyable to singalong and dance. I didn't know that would be the last live concert that I'll be going to till the Pandemic came upon us! Here's a short recap of the years that I haven't blogged about: 2018: Traveled to India, Germany and Hong Kong (yeah, I went crazy traveling and it was really great as they were different experiences. Perhaps I should blog about each destination (IF I CAN RECALL OMG THE MEMORY HAS DETERIORATED!)....

The Script - No Sound Without Silence Tour Live In Malaysia 19th April 2015

The Script had their first Malaysian concert in April! :) I was fortunate enough to attend it. I have always enjoyed listening to them since their "Man Who Can't Be Moved" days, and I'm so happy to see them doing well and getting the credits that has been long overdue.  We bought the sitting ticket (learned my lesson after the OneRepublic one!). There was a venue change (originally was in Putra Indoor stadium, like the Adam Lambert one!) and I was a little nervous that it was going a fair bit of distance from the stage (like the Linkin Park one!), but we had a pretty good view :) Pic taken from the Script's Twitter account. I added the yellow circle to show where we sat!  What's cool about them is that they are very interactive with the crowd and their gratitude is very genuine. You really do feel the love! The entrance was the bomb! They walked through the crowds to the stage singing Paint the Town Green. Mark and Danny sometimes will run...

OneRepublic's Native Tour 31.10.13

My buddy and I went to OneRepublic 's Native tour which was held in Sunway Lagoon, KL. This will be my first Concert in a mosh-pit as I'm a little claustrophobic and 'not-too-young' no more..it was a good experience I would say; least I can finally tick "being in a mosh pit" off my bucket list!  We flew to Subang in the afternoon and hung about in Sunway Pyramid mall till the concert (starts at 8.30pm). Happily checked out the venue, etc. Plus point was that we accidentally saw Drew and I reckon, Brent walking back to their hotel. What did we do? We followed them. Oh man! I haven't done these kind of things since my teens! hahaha..but we didn't run nor scream after them. We slowly walked behind them.. lol! we sat at the hotel lobby and their bodyguard shoo-ed us off. We didn't cause any ruckus, of course..I understand they need their privacy, but it was kind of fun and stupid at the same time :D Only managed to get a REALLY shaky shot of D...

Linkin Park - Living Things World Tour Kuala Lumpur 19th August 2013

IT HAPPENED!!     I FINALLY WENT TO A LINKIN PARK CONCERTTTTTTTTTT!!! WOO HOO!! Been waiting for 10 years. This is the 2nd time my sis has attended their concert. I missed it last time cause I had some major exams looming up and I was too stupid to say yes :p When I saw their post on Facebook stating that they were coming........without a skip of a heartbeat I knew that we were going. It was so much funnnn!! Being "not too young' anymore, we bought seat tickets. It was nice but oh-so-far... they looked like tiny lil ants, and the crowd at the bottom looked like they were having tonnes of fun! All the pics we took were rubbish...but here's a view of what we saw.. Thank God they had 2 huge LED screens (which were horrible to photograph..the camera wouldn't focus.. all that came out were bright lights!)   Met an ex classmate there who was crazy about LP too! Was so awesome :D So happy :) Please come back again :)
