Pictures of Zander can be found here - scroll till you find "Lost Dog") Oreja & I know how it feels like to have a lost dog..Our dear Brownie got lost for 2 days 2 years back and that was pure torture. We got him back, ofcourse and Thank God for that!! So I hope Zander will be found as well. For those who aren't in KL, do keep him and his owner in your prayers. Shorted-haired. To all my friends please help to put this pictures on your blogs and websites. If found please contact (012) 415-1524 or (012) 770-7490. Alleycats!

Oreja & I have some pics to share with you of the cats that live at our backlane. I started to "befriend/be a slave" to them about a couple of months ago when I was doing the dishes in the kitchen and heard some cats meow-ing. So it became a routine of feeding them at night and sometimes for lunch if we're around. They would know immediately when someone's in the kitchen and will meow their little lungs out for dinner. Today we got a chance to see them durng lunch and after they ate, they immediately went to the shade and rested..well I'd call it POSE. They are such posers!! The joker on the left is the one that will meow non-stop till someone feeds it. The one on the right is the timid one..never heard it meow as of yet. Miss Middle will jump to get the food. Cheetah girls or pussycat dolls? The one on the right is the smart one. Once she finished eating, she'll lookout for me to see where I'm tossing next. They heard our neighbours talking and went

Someday my Prince will come..

I used to have a picture blog in the past (something Ody and Xivinrah would know about - as it was on DK). I tried matching the photos I have with quotes. Here's one that I did. I might be posting others in the future, we'll see how. Some ladies(and men) have what we call a "Cinderella Syndrome" - where we're waiting for the perfect Prince Charming to come whisk us away into a beautiful castle far away at an enchanted forest. This quote I found has a funny twist and stark reality of the mindset of some. ..but then again, can't a girl dream? =P If Prince Eric of the Little Mermaid was a real dude, that would be IT! (too bad he had to choose that gorgeous red-head) *photo credit goes to Oreja, as she took this pic. I just modified the colourings =P.

Oh Tagged!

I got tagged by the fabulous Addy , so now I shall fulfill my tagging vows.. The rules of the game are: 1) Link to your tagger and list these rules on your blog. 2) Share 7 facts about yourself, some random, some weird. 3) Tag 7 more people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs. 4) Let them know they've been tagged by leaving a comment on their blogs. FACT NUMBER 1 I love watching the sun rise everyday. I feel that the sky is God's canvas and He paints fantastic pictures everyday. I'm blessed to see the sun rise every morning for my work starts so early! (blessing in disguise huh?) FACT NUMBER 2 I stink at telling structured jokes..they just don't come out funny! FACT NUMBER 3 I procrastinate. (Thanks Crystal =p ) FACT NUMBER 4 I do typos. A lot. Ask anyone whom I chat with, they will vouch for me! FACT NUMBER 5 I wrote "I hate maths" all over my bed with multi coloured markers when I was ten. Still hate maths now. FAC

Hands - Jewel

A dedication to Mariposa and the boss, and the pakcik... If I could tell the world just one thing It would be that we're all ok And not to worry because worry is wasteful and useless in times like these I will not be made useless I won't be idled with despair I will gather myself around my faith for light does the darkness most fear My hands are small, I know, but they're not yours they are my own but they're not yours they are my own and I am never broken Poverty stole your golden shoes but it didn't steal your laughter And heartache came to visit me but i knew it wasn't ever after We will fight, not out of spite for someone must stand up for what's right cause where there's a man who has no voice there ours shall go singing In the end only kindness matters In the end only kindness matters I will get down on my knees and I will pray I will get down on my knees and I will pray I will get down on my knees and I will pray My hands are small, I know, but th

Kind souls still exist

These past 2 days I've witness that there are still good and caring people around. It's really the little things or gestures done that makes a difference.(well to me anyway) Take Thursday, my boss came into the office with a bird on his palm. We were all amazed wondering where he got it from. He told us that he saw it lying on the ground next to the drain. (he thought that it was dead). He walked pass it again and saw it standing up. So he picked it up and brought it up. He said that he would bring it to the vet later if it survived. My Finance Manager immediately went to look for a box for the bird(I'm not sure what species it was, but it looked like a pigeony type, but smaller). I remembered that my colleague used to eat oats for breakfast and she should have some in stock. I used to tease her that she was eating bird food, haha fancy a real bird eating it =P. Anyway, we got the bird in the box and he put the bird in his bathroom, away from the noise, cold and light. Late

A stroll down the Old Penang...

Image
My dear friend Summerhope had brought me to the old part of Penang last Saturday.. She was telling me that although we've lived in Penang all our lives, we never truly enjoyed what Penang has to offer (yeah we're terrible Penangites!) Anyway, there was another motive for this visit..she wanted to get a dress for a wedding. We headed to the heart of Penang - town. Old town rather. Where old shops still thrive among the modern buildings. There was also a "Ramadhan Bazaar" (Something like Ramadhan Market, but other items such as textiles are sold). We went to Chowrasta Market..I'm not very sure what the name means..Wiki said that it's named after "4 crossroads" market..But I'm not sure what language it's derived from.. One of the many lanes of pre-war houses.. Summer took this shot..she loved the pots at the windows =) Uncle Peanut..steamed peanuts for sale..it's yum! Multitude of pickles for the pickled hearted =P We weaved in and out man
