Movies in May

Image
I managed to watch 2 movies in May and both were action-packed. First one was: Robin Hood It was not bad..but I was so exhausted when I watched it so I couldn't really enjoy it. The plot portrayed about how Robin became who is he as we know him to be. I don't really fancy Russel Crowe but I must say I didn't hate him here :) He was rather good! The other one I just watched it yesterday - Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. I LOVED IT. As Maripasu said - It's filled with action from the beginning till the end. I used to play this video game ages ago - just the first version. I youtubed the game just now and saw how much it has evolved - apparently the movie stays true to the game. So yay :) Jake did a good job. I wonder if Jared Leto would've been a better Prince Dastan? More info: Robin Hood - the official site wouldn't load so here's another one Prince of Persia

She is also a necromancer - someone who can control the dead. She is also a licensed Vampire Hunter - which makes her quite detective-like. Lol she's so many things! Hence the whole series is called the 'Anita Blake Series'. It revolves around vampires, zombies, werewolves, ghouls..you get the drift. I read 2 of her books and find it quite interesting, and the gore factor is higher than Sookie Stackhouse series. Some points I feel so grossed out >.< There tends to be repetition about who she is in the second book - but I guess that's so people can understand who the characters are if they didn't read the previous book. But I find some parts rather draggy and just scheme through them. I always look forward when she is called to the cemetery to wake the dead or a crime sc
