My church friend Denise is a wonderful singer. I've been wanting to blog about her for awhile now, but procrastination always had the better of me. Today I shall blog about her! She's gone to another state now to continue her studies, and I bugged her to sing a song by Utada Hikaru..for a while now..and she actually sang it - she just passed me the link of her youtube and she dedicated the song to me. =) so sweet of you missy! I never liked baking. I don't bake nor do I have the flair for it. But for my best friend's sake, I attempted . I wanted to surprise her for her 25th birthday. So that's what I did (Bad move!) So a week before her birthday, I practiced making some cupcakes..I bought the ready-made cake mix - Betty Crocker's Chocolate Fudge to accustomise myself. My aunt helped me cause I don't even know where the bake tins, mixer and ingredients are kept! So, my friend loves the song Pokerface by Lady Gaga - so that's the theme I went along with..make some cupcakes and decorate them with shapes Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs and Spades ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ ..boy was it difficult. So I tried anyway.. and this was how the 'practice' cupcakes came out to be: Looks so weird n kiddy lol So last week was her birthday and I was geared up for 2nd and final attempt! On Thursday I was supposed to get that cake mix after work. But something came up at work and I hadn't the chance to purchase it. R...

Estee Lauder is having a nationwide modeling search and they were in Penang since Thursday. So happened 2 of my friends decided to join it ans some of us tagged along to give them our support. They went through 3 hours of prepping up in total - the wait, make-up, hair, wardrobe and finally, POSING for the best photo. Last Thursday I went for a short trip to Malaysia's capital city - Kuala Lumpur to spend some time with Addy . On the bus after touching down at Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT). It's situated right next to Kula Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The airport is about an hour away from the city. So once you touch down, you purchase a bus ticket and off you go to the city. All busses stop at KL Central. The ticket booth is very easy to locate. Addy gave great instructions! On the way. I flew using AirAsia - squint and you can see the plane in the pic. Met Addy and she took me to a new mall - Pavillion (she told me it's about a year old) Swanky Had lunch at the food court - lots of varities Watched Marley & Me with Addy and cried. I read the book previously and I cried buckets then. I told myseld I'm not gonna watch it.. Addy treated me to the movie. I got a lovely surprise last week when my dear buddy, Summerhope returned from her holiday at Hainan. She got me this!! She knows about my fixations about pandas! It's a cutie ;) Thanks a lot Missy! And today, I met Kris who is back from Australia for the hols. She brought me a surprise too!! My Freddos!!!!!! She's such a sweet and thoughtful person who still remembers that I love these froggies ;) thank you dear! And Oreja has gotten me an early Christmas pressie! A laptop bag! whee I feel so blessed! Thank you all for the gifts =)
