SeaSands in the Sun

Well I've not blogged much for sometime now. Just last week I took some photos of our backyard cats. I normally only see them at night after work, so it was nice seeing them on a Sunday afternoon instead. Here are some pics of them :) This fellow is the most vocal one. ALWAYS meows when he hears any noise at our kitchen. I think he is the watch-cat for their group. This tabby is very intelligent. She waits at the back and knows when to catch when we throw food to her. This kitty surpassed all my expectations! Once I was late in feeding them and when i opened the window, she shot right up the window!! Thank goodness there were steel bars and window glass to block her from coming right in. And there was one more incident when I fed them late. This time I stood far from the window and opened it. She shot right up once again and hung to the window. And started meowing when she saw me. I fed her a piece of meat straight from the window to her and surprisingly, she ate! I was rather imp...

Here are some pics of my cats at work. They've grown! Very mischievous.. he got startled when I showed him how he looked after I took the pic! lol I love this kitty. There's someone that reminds me of chicken........ ..........reminds me of plucked chicken............ ................. Introducing ............ Ayam (chicken in Malay) This kitty from work loves to sit with all his 4 limbs tucked inside..we don't have a name for it so we call it Ayam. hehehe

Lately our neighbourhood has been terrorized by hoofed invaders! They have seen grazing around for a couple of weeks now. My aunt speculated that due to the hot weather, the grass have dried and they've ventured further to look for greener pastures (don't we all?) Here's a video of Bobo getting all mad about cows: Last Friday I was about to walk out of my house and then I heard MOOOs..only to find 3 cows were near my house!! And one of them were eating up my neighbour's plants..udderly horrific! I was too chicken to walk out of my house after seeing them; afraid that they would chase me..guess you can call me a COWard =P

Oreja & I have some pics to share with you of the cats that live at our backlane. I started to "befriend/be a slave" to them about a couple of months ago when I was doing the dishes in the kitchen and heard some cats meow-ing. So it became a routine of feeding them at night and sometimes for lunch if we're around. They would know immediately when someone's in the kitchen and will meow their little lungs out for dinner. Today we got a chance to see them durng lunch and after they ate, they immediately went to the shade and rested..well I'd call it POSE. They are such posers!! The joker on the left is the one that will meow non-stop till someone feeds it. The one on the right is the timid one..never heard it meow as of yet. Miss Middle will jump to get the food. Cheetah girls or pussycat dolls? The one on the right is the smart one. Once she finished eating, she'll lookout for me to see where I'm tossing next. They heard our neighbours talking and went ...

I have a serious problem. I think I'm in love with .............PANDAS. 've received a few emails about them in the past, and just now I just watched a documentary on captive pandas..MAN THEY ARE ADORABLE!!! Pocketful of Sichuan sunshines These babies are actually situated in the Sichuan Wolong Panda Protection and Breeding Center. As we know, the numbers of Pandas in the world is dwindling down. This center aims to breed them and subsequently return them to the wild. He ain't heavy, he's my brother! They also have a Panda Kindergarten, not too sure what they do there..maybe teach them to play nice and hold bamboo colouring competitions..or Play Peek-a-boo Learn to crawl I also received an email about them after the horrendous Sichuan Earthquake on May12th. Said they huddled together and stayed close. I rememebr reading that there were 2 adult pandas who went missing..not too sure if they located them. The damage was pretty bad, but there are people who are passionate a...
