finally! an all girl team won the amazing race asia! this is the first time an all girl team has ever won an amazing race, including the 10 seasons from the US!
and the best part is they're malaysians!

congratulations girls! Joe Jer & Zabrina, we are so proud of u!!!

What a special date!! 20082008 . What's even more special is that..today Mr.Brownie turned 9! =) My hero has gone through hell and back and is still playing fire with his tail. Maggots, kidney failure, liver issues, tick infection, eczema, glaucoma, heart problems..bring it on, he'll always bounce back. Special thanks goes out to the 2 Dr.Gills who manage to aid him of his ailments! What a drama dog we have. Knew him since he was itty bitty..your mummy Bubbles must've had hell 9 years ago when 5 puppies popped out of her lol Out of the 5 puppies, we identified this Brown male to be the laziest..never played much with his brother and sisters, always slept under the sofa..and hence got the name "Grampa Brown". Reflections of 2014

Happy 2015!  Here's a post of what has happened in 2014. It's been bittersweet, challenging, surprising and exciting all rolled into one. All I know is that I have to remember that something wonderful is always about to happen. (Sure beats being sad/negative about things!) January: Went to Sibu, Sarawak with my dear maripasu to attend a friend's wedding. Ferry on the Rajang River - the longest river in Sarawak Went hiking :) I need to do this more often!!  Attended: 2 weddings  February: The time I hit the 3 series, and received a surprise bouquet from a dear one all the way from Spain! :) So much love all around  Attended: 1 wedding March: Went to Cambodia for a wedding :) Attended: 2 weddings April:  Tecoma Trees were in full bloom :) Cut my hair for Locks of Love  Met a friend from Language Exchange. .. that was the question that was asked to me over the past week.  "Myself" - I answered. The questioner wasn't very pleased with the answer. Dug even more and made me talk more about it. The question was asked again.."I don't know" - I said. Talked more about finding happiness since I "lost" it and "myself" over the past couple of years.  The following day, it was asked again.. "To find the meaning in life (I suppose)" - who am I, what is my purpose..  No one asked me these questions before, I felt uncomfortable and drained trying to answer it. I don't have an answer to please the questioner. That wasn't the intention. The intention was to make me aware of why I did certain things in the past and understand it and to ensure it doesn't happen again in the future (so I don't fall into the same cycle).
