this is so beautiful!!! like walking on your own DNA. the design is by Geoffrey Parker . DNA ladder - it's a chemical we use when performing agarose gel electrophoresis to mark the base pairs of DNA. now this is the literal meaning put into art. haha! when art and science combine...there is more than beauty.

Who is Faith? She was born deformed with only 3 legs (one had to be taken off cuz of how badly deformed it was) and the family who took her in taught her how to walk with 2 legs!!! You can read about her here . What she has achieved is amazing. I saw her on Oprah the other day and she is truly an inspirational animal. If she can achieve this, we can also achieve things we never imagine we could, all we need to do is try! "Unless you flap your wings, you will never know how high you can fly"

Yay! Happy New Year! i don't know what i am so happy about! how did i spend my new year? the best way possible! sitting in my living room, munching on chocolates, some chocolate chip cookies (and more junk food!) and watching the disney channel. don't judge me. i know i am in my 20s...but i still love cartoons, and that's not going to change this year either! just something interesting to share too. mike shinoda has opened his art gallery (or something like that..). and i think his artworks are pretty cool. i checked out his web site, turns out that the proceeds from his sold art goes to an art scholarship. that's really nice... well, until next time...! cheers and wishing u all things nice your way in the new year! ;)

It's the time of the year again! I must say that this is my fav holiday season!! ..and also the most important one =) I asked a couple of my friends what Christmas means to them : A : it could mean.. i need to give my rabbit one whole carrot B: family and friends Christmas can mean differently to many people ....... but I KNOW Chirstmas means that OREJA would be getting that Quality Streets chocolates..... hahahahaha Happy Holidays and have a blessed Christmas! For me..Jesus is the reason for the season =) ..also time for family and friends!

i nearly died of a freak attack when i was looking for pictures for this post. i wanted to tell u how afraid i am of geckos. they scare the living day lights out of me. if there is one in the bathroom, i will not be able to take my shower as i can't stand the beady eyes staring at me as i cleanse myself. last week, i encountered 2 gecko attacks in the loo... 1. this baby fella ran straight at me when i went into the loo. then i ran straight out of the toilet. 2. the second encounter, i wasn't that lucky, as i had already positioned myself and was in the midst of my toilet stuff...i saw a pair of eyes staring up at me from the floor. i was so afraid to move, afraid that this fella would run straight at me like the first bloody idiot...then i tried to move my arm slowly...then he made some funny movement. then i moved a bit more...then he ran straight out of the door. phew. that was close! well...there's one thing i think looks really pretty though. art work of gecko silhoutt...
