Kuala Lumpur / Klang

Two weeks ago I had an impromptu visit to Malaysia's capital City - Kuala Lumpur. So here are some pictures. I stayed in a nearby city - Klang, Selangor. Made me realise we have so much history!

LCCT airport- next to KLIA

Air Asia's Tune Hotel - Right next to the terminal

On the way
Our National Anthem - Negaraku (My country)

Visited Cervantes Institute in Damansara. If you're interested to study Spanish - this is where you need to be!

A bridge that looks very similar in design to Penang Bridge

There are so many malls thriving in Selangor - One of them is the Sunway Pyramid

Huge sphinx greets you at the entranceInterior

Nike store- I thought it was very creative they did this in soccer jerseys.

Sunway Lagoon is right next to it- Many international artistes have come here to do concerts. MTV World Stage will be held here at the end of July.

Something wise at the bathroom wall

Royal Gallery of the Royals of the Selangor state. Really beautiful.

Alam Shah Palace - This is where the Sultan lives yo!

Really huge, but we weren't allowed in, of course.

This is the fort that King Mahadi used to defend his Selangor against King Abdullah. Now the Municipal building of Klang is built behind it.

Historical Railway station of Klang

We took a 45 min train ride to reach Kuala Lumpur; same amount of time I took to fly from Penang to KL :)

Kuala Lumpur's Puduraya Jail - it is no longer in use and they have recently decided to break it down. Out with the old, in with the new

Popular Bintang Walk - Star Walk

I'll leave you with a building most people would recognise

I'm sure you know what this is :)
(If you don't, it's the Petronas Twin Towers)
