Come read with me (July)

I tried to complete reading at least 2 books this month...but I couldn't finish them! So I only have one review for July. It's Book 5 from the Anita Blake Series. This one is called Bloody Bones.

This one takes Anita to another state to investigate a bizarre vampire killing. The author actually used an old rhyme about Rawhead & Bloody Bones to make up a new monster in this book. I personally have not heard of this but apparently Rawhead & Bloody Bones is equivalent to the American Boogeyman. Rawhead eats children who are bad and tell lies. >.<>

I didn't really enjoy this book as it was a bit draggy and the plot seemed choppy (maybe the author was trying to put too many sub-plots at one go). I got a little confused - or maybe I scanned too quickly at some parts cause the elaboration of what the characters were wearing were too long. haha

I'm in the midst of reading Book 6 and another book from another author (not gory, I assure you!)

This reminds me of the funny movie by Roman Polanski "Per favore non mordermi sul collo"!

"Please don't bite on the neck": you have done the right translation, Mariposa!
The title in English is: "The fearless vampire killers".
